The SVAT 4-Channel H.264 Smart DVR is an inexpensive and easy to use DVR that you can access over the Internet or even using your 3G smart phone device such as a BlackBerry or iPhone. You can also have the DVR automatically send you an email alert whenever motion is detected in front of a camera. This way you can keep an eye on your home or business anytime and from anywhere.
This DVR uses the H.264 compression method to generate quality video images while maximizing hard drive space. A total of 120 FPS are available for distribution among the up-to-4 cameras that can be added to this system (cameras are available here). This translates into a full 30 FPS recording speed possible for each camera input (at CIF).
Video is recorded to an internal 500GB HDD, which can be expanded to 1.5TB (1 internal SATA bay). A USB port means that you can easily back up files to an external USB HDD or flash memory device. You can also connect an external DVD or CD burner and transfer material to an optical disc media.
SVAT designed this DVR for ease of setup and operation with a menu system that helps you find the tools you're looking for while explaining what each feature does. You can also conveniently access the menu from a distance using the provided IR remote control.
iPhone and BlackBerry Smartphone Compatible
Access live video footage directly from any Smartphone, including the iPhone or BlackBerry Smartphones. Your DVR can also be set to email your hand-held whenever specific activity occurs, such as motion detection.
NOTE: This system is not currently compatible with the new iPhone 4S, however an update to remedy this will be available soon.

The 500GB hard drive is optimized for 24/7 surveillance and uses cutting edge H.264 compression to record over a month of video. Set to record in real time, your footage will stream flawlessly during playback.
